Treasures from the past come to life at this 18th-century fort and fur trading village, reconstructed based on historic maps and more than 60 years of archaeological excavations. As you walk through the site, you are stepping back in time to 1780 during the American Revolution. Located at the tip of the lower peninsula in Mackinaw City on the shore of Lake Michigan. 2024 season is May 8-October 3, and again October 10-20, Thursday-Sunday only.
